Law enforcement driving related accidents are one of the leading causes of injuries to police officers.
Members of the Property and Casualty Trust are eligible to send officers to the League's annual defensive driver training class. Each year, officers from across the state attend a 2-day course that includes both classroom training and behind-the-wheel exercises.
Police departments that attend leave this course with additional tools to evaluate and enhance their driver training programs.
